Following a recent assessment from the AA, we’re delighted to confirm that Hart’s Hotel & Kitchen has been awarded four AA Silver Stars for our hotel facilities and two Rosettes for culinary excellence in our newly formed Hart’s Kitchen.
This is a huge accolade for the team since the downsize of Hart’s Restaurant and the move into the hotel in March 2019. We have been working together to ensure our guests and diners continue to enjoy the overall hospitality and dining experience at Hart’s, so we are thrilled to share this news.
So how exactly does the AA star system work you might wonder? Well, there are three colour bands in addition to the star numbers. Black is first, followed by silver and then red. As you move to the top end of this range, both in stars and colours, you’ll find fewer and fewer hotels, due to the high standards expected. Four AA Silver Stars is certainly towards the high end of the scale, and we have received this for three consecutive years. But we’re not complacent and are continually making changes and improvements to ensure we keep our standards high.
The AA inspector made the following comments regarding the hotel:-
“Hospitality and service continues to perform very well, with a friendly focused team delivering an attentive service. Physically the hotel remains in excellent shape throughout. Bedrooms are stylish with notable design and complete with thoughtful extras, ensuring high levels of comfort across all room categories.”
Recognition is always very welcome in the hotel and restaurant business – it is such a competitive place to be and with exacting standards demanded. The two Rosettes awarded is given for the quality of the restaurant and it relates to the service provided in addition to the quality and presentation of the food, so to retain our two Rosettes in Hart’s Kitchen is absolutely fantastic.
We were delighted to receive such positive comments in reference to Hart’s Kitchen including:-“The intimate restaurant space is attractively presented, bold furnishings of good quality and comfort which make a strong impression. Hart’s Kitchen menu reads well, offering a good range of seasonal choice for guests. Dishes at dinner were thoroughly enjoyable and continue to achieve two rosettes for culinary excellence. Very pleasant al fresco dining experiences were a memorable aspect.”
This great performance has clearly provided a boost to the whole team that strive daily to make Hart’s what it is. The enthusiasm and the passion of the team is evident and there is an exciting buzz around everything that we do. We’re proud to be an independently owned hotel in Nottingham and we’re extremely proud of our four AA Silver stars and our two Rosettes Award.
We’d love to welcome you to Hart’s soon, to show you just what makes this such a special place. Whether you are dining with us or you are visiting Nottingham for a residential stay or business, please do get in touch if you’d like to visit.
