The Trent Lock, part of the Vintage Inns collection, recently reopened its doors following a major refurbishment, bringing a beautiful new look to this Long Eaton local.
The pub, located on Lock Lane, oozes rural charm and rustic character with the picturesque surroundings providing the perfect backdrop for savouring its new menu, which it hopes will excite guests and encourage them to while away many hours in their cosy surroundings.
Visitors to The Trent Lock can enjoy the pub throughout the year, whether they’re relaxing in front of their roaring fires in winter or making the most of the long summer nights in their new outdoor dining area. They can also sample the amazing selection of gins, ales and wines on offer behind the bar and try out some of the freshly prepared British dishes from the new menu, and The Trent Lock hopes that the new look is a welcome change in Nottingham.
Daniel Lawton, landlord of The Trent Lock, said: "We wanted the new look to provide guests with a cosy pub where they can enjoy dinner, have a few drinks after their busy day or simply to relax with their four-legged friends and read the Sunday paper.
“The Trent Lock is in a fantastic location in the Nottingham countryside, and we have an amazing support network around us, so we hope that all of our guests, both regulars and first-timers love the transformation.”
The Trent Lock celebrated the reopening with a brand-new menu certain to tickle the taste buds of guests, with new dishes including slow-cooked pork belly with dauphinoise potatoes, green beans, courgettes, honey-roasted carrots and an elderflower & blackberry jus, and a host of mouth-watering puddings including a warming sticky toffee pudding.
To celebrate its new-look, The Trent Lock is holding a ‘Taste of Vintage’ event where guests will be able to sample a selection of the new dishes, chat to Sarah and the team and celebrate with a free glass of bubbles. The event will be taking place on 25th January 2019 at 7pm.
