New kid on the block, Bar + Block Steakhouse is bringing fresh new cuts to the city of Nottingham this summer. Launching in the Chapel Quarter, on Sunday 17th June, the brand new all-day dining steakhouse combines a destination restaurant with a bar that’s fit for any occasion.
To celebrate its arrival, from 18th – 24th June, Bar + Block Steakhouse will be treating local carnivores to a fantastic opening preview offer of 50% off mains. Valid on reservations only, please sign up and secure a spot at: offers.barandblock.co.uk/nottingham
From rump to ribeye, and sirloin to spiral-cut, Bar + Block is all about the beef. Sourced from cattle reared across the Pampas in South America, its dry-aged for 28 days then hand-cut to order. Steak aficionados will be invited to explore an ever-changing selection of cuts from classics to signatures and new favourites on the ‘Butcher’s Block’. Other highlights include The Mighty Block Burger – an eight-ounce hand-ground beef patty with indulgent cheese sauce, pulled beef brisket, crispy onions, pickles, cucumber, lettuce, tomato and fiery black sauce and a Deconstructed Beef Wellington – 10oz of sliced fillet on layers of garlic spinach and creamy truffle flavoured mushrooms, served with a rich Malbec sauce.
After a quick bite? The Express Menu available 12-5pm Monday to Friday is the perfect way to inject flavour into a busy day. For under £10, diners can enjoy a glass of wine, beer or soft drink and a dish including steak and frites; open club sandwich or a classic 6oz beef burger and fries, just to name a few, all served within 10 minutes of placing your order.
While the chefs fire up the grill, the mixologists are working on their perfect serves. Look out for a drinks menu with a focus on craft beers and ciders, traditional and creative cocktails and a specially curated wine list. For those wanting to celebrate the end of the working week enjoy bubbles on ‘Fizz Fridays’ – where you can bag a bottle of prosecco for just £15 all day!
