Are you looking for unusual and tasty ways to celebrate World Gin Day this year?
Following the sell out success of their very first Supper Club, the National Space Centre has worked with the very best local suppliers to create another amazing dining experience in the heart of the museum, with a juniper twist, with a focus on local, seasonal and sustainable produce.
Diners can explore the galleries, sit back and enjoy a show in the UK's largest planetarium, drop in to make their very own gin to take home, before taking a seat under satellites, stars and even next to a space toilet (we did say it was unique!) to enjoy a great five course menu of locally sourced produce.
Menu items include rare breed Leicestershire reared pork with apricot and ginger, or local Leicestershire cheeses as part of a final course served with homemade alcohol-free fruit gin (great for those driving on the night, as well as those who want to try something a little different).
The evening includes optional wine pairing, that have been suggested and provided by the team at Everards, another great Leicestershire institution.
You will arrive under giant rockets and enjoy a World Gin Day cocktail designed specifically for tonight’s event, or try an alcohol-free G&T, as well as a new canape selection, created to lead into an evening of fine dining.
There’s also the opportunity to spend time discovering the award-winning galleries and iconic Rocket Tower, with less than 100 people (in a building that traditionally welcomes almost 2,000 visitors a day).
