Hidden away on the edge of Endcliffe Park, Sheffield, surrounded by nature, is the beautiful, independent boutique hotel, Brocco on the Park. With breath-takingly idyllic rooms, and an award winning restaurant, this Edwardian Villa prides itself in offering peace and tranquility, amongst the hustle and bustle of one of Sheffield’s busiest areas – Ecclesall Road.

At Brocco on the Park, the customers experience is of the upmost importance. Whether stopping by for a coffee, feasting on a Tasting Menu created with the finest ingredients, or an intimate night away with a loved one, it is the main priority of all who work at Brocco to ensure only the best is offered.

Tuesday 8th March 2022 marks International Women’s Day, and Brocco owners, Fine & Country Inns, are so proud to support their all-female management team, who constantly show strength, courage and inspiration throughout their day to day operation, and strive for perfection at every turn.

Led under the direction of General Manager, Pam Rayward, Brocco Kitchen offers a stylish and luxurious taste sensation. With the support of her Duty Manager, Keely Stillwell and Assistant Manager, Sophie Dixon, the dynamic trio have pride and passion in all walks of restaurant life. In November 2021, Brocco was awarded the “Best Hotel in Sheffield” award, proudly presented by Westside Magazine, an honor that the team are still beaming about today; “Being part of the Brocco Management Team is more than just a job. Every day we see the love, enthusiasm and commitment that goes in to every aspect of what we do, delivered by all members of the team. From answering the phones, to plating up a heavenly dessert, to welcoming our guests, everything we do is for the benefit of the customer. This makes us so appreciative of awards and recognition such as the Westside Award. As a female General Manager, I am constantly in awe to have such a strong team of women to work with and learn from.” Pam Rayward.

Heading up the Hotel is Nicola Walton. If there is ever anything someone may need to know about Brocco, Nicola is the woman for you. Dedicating the last 4 years to the hotel, Nicola is an absolute asset to the team, and is as much part of the furniture as the handpicked fittings and fixtures in each of the rooms. Over the years, Brocco has been overwhelmed by the local and national awards and accolades that has been received, none of which would have been possible without Nicola guiding the way.

The owners of Brocco, Fine & Country Inns is focused on growing their estate of award-winning venues across the north of England, Gary Hunt, CEO & Chairman, understands that the key to this growth and success is by recruiting the best people in the region, to deliver an exceptional experience for customers in terms of environment, offering and service. “To be successful, we need to encourage our team members to be their own success stories. Our Female led team at Brocco are a shining example of the hardworking individuals we look for and I am so proud to be part of their success.”

On the back of the success of their new venture at Brocco on the Park, Gary and his Senior Management Team are busy working on further expansion throughout Yorkshire, Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire on the search for freehold or leasehold venues that could fit nicely into the Fine & Country Inns group portfolio.
