In this time of crisis, it’s not just people that are beginning to suffer from cabin fever due to being locked down for weeks on end. Our four-legged friends may be feeling the blues too; with short walks limited only to the local area, a lack of social contact and restricted access to their favourite treats, let’s face it it’s no longer ‘A Dog’s Life’ right now for pets or owners!
Whilst the present is a strange time, it gives us the opportunity though to look forward to the future and Devonshire Hotels may just have the answer.
Dogs across the land are dreaming of long walkies across beautiful open countryside, wolfing down exquisitely prepared dishes, created from the finest of local ingredients, and paw-sing their busy lives to indulge a pampering spa treatment.
At Devonshire Hotels, dogs can look forward to a warm welcome from pet concierge, treats and a fuss upon arrival, a four-poster dog bed hand-crafted on the Chatsworth Estate, fit for a king or queen, doggy afternoon tea or light bite from the dedicated dog menu. They can also benefit from a wide range of doggy spa treatments including the award-winning “Pooch Pamper” massage. Following an organic ‘Dales mud treatment’ in the great outdoors, they can even partake in the ‘al fresco’ doggy plunge pool.
Richard Palmer, Managing Director of The Devonshire Hotels and Restaurants Group, commented,
“We’ve always been dog friendly at our hotels, and now we’re taking this proposition even further, to give both owners and pets alike the very warmest of welcomes, and the very best of experiences when they choose to stay with us.”
Canine Retreats to get tails wagging again are available to book from 1st April, for stays until December 2021, see website for further details.
