The East Midlands’ biggest entertainment venue, the Motorpoint Arena Nottingham, has unveiled the latest development to its hospitality offer with the launch of the stylish new bar and restaurant ‘Spotlight’.
Offering spectacular views of the Nottingham skyline, Spotlight has been created following a major reconfiguration of the Arena’s level 4 hospitality facilities which also includes a relaxed bar and lounge area and a new state-of-the-art kitchen.
The eye-catching new restaurant, which replaces the Platinum Suite restaurant previously enjoyed by hospitality guests, is set to open on Thursday 26 September when Russell Howard visits the Arena for a sell-out show as part of his Respite Stand Up World Tour.
Spotlight, covering a much bigger area than the former restaurant, will have a dining capacity of 130 and will offer both a-la-carte and bistro* dining options plus an extensive drinks menu to include cocktails. Thanks to the brand-new kitchen facilities, the in-house catering team will be able to bring new, tempting creations to the table such as butter fried duck eggs with sauté black pudding, 28-day hung fillet steaks and vegan ‘beyond burgers’ with various toppings.
The new restaurant will be available to events guests who book a Spotlight Hospitality Experience which includes premium show seats and also to Annual Executive Suite holders who want to enhance their time at the Arena. For Nottingham Panther’s matches and guests with standard tickets for selected events, walk-up tables will be available to those who want to enjoy a premium dining experience before an event. Spotlight will also be available to hire for private parties and events. The feature bar and lounge area is set to be the perfect location for hospitality guests to enjoy a relaxed drink with views of the city before or after a show.
Sharon Lordan, Marketing & Sales Director said: “We are thrilled to be able to extend our hospitality offering at the Motorpoint Arena Nottingham with the new Spotlight Bar & Restaurant experience. Our Executive Suites are always in incredibly high demand, being sold out for the past four years, so the Spotlight concept is an exciting alternative and we hope it will appeal to those looking for a new experience in a premium setting”.
The five-figure development has been project managed by local specialists, Welham Architects and Tailormade Interiors. Working closely with the project team, Adam Hucknall, Catering Manager at the Motorpoint Arena Nottingham said: “A huge amount of work has gone into the new development and we very much look forward to impressing guests with the wider range of menu options made possible by the fantastic new kitchen facilities”.
Open for all concerts and events from 26 September 2019 onwards, customers are advised to book in advance as packages for some of the major shows, such Michael Bublé on 6 and 7 December, are already sold out.
