Continental chic is coming to Nottingham tonight folks, ooh la la!! The team behind Le Petit Paris have branched out and have opened (full blown) Paris restaurant with the aim of bringing some Gallic Gastro magic to the City.
As soon as you walk through its doors, you’re hit with a hefty dose of style: a flower festooned swing invites you to embrace your fun-loving side, whilst one of Valentino Rossi’s motorcycles beckons you to unleash your wilder side from behind its glass cabinet confines.
Going into the bar-cum-reception area you find yourself transported to a Cherry Tree lined avenue, complete with spectacular chandelier and large print of the Arc De Triomph. Prepare to elegantly sip your way through an imaginative selection of cocktails whilst you relax on the soft, sumptuous seating; I was in no rush to escape this area, thanks to its warm vibe.
The dining area however, really is something else. The cherry trees are still very much in evidence, their branches spreading a canopy over each table, but they are joined by free standing street lamps that cast a soft glow over the space. Stylish walls sconces had lit candles within them that flickered gently, echoing the smaller tealights that danced on the tables from their sea blue holders.
Classic French dishes such as Moules Mariniere and pan-fried Chicken Livers are some of the starters, with Seafood Platters, an array of Steaks, and even slow-cooked Pork Belly amongst the main course offerings. The dessert menu is more varied than you would first think; no Tarte Tatin or Creme Brulee, but other treats instead!
Opening night is tonight, discount via slevykuponu (Thursday 29th August 2019), so grab yourself a slice of this French fancy quick!!
