The New Inn at Milford is now under new ownership and will be serving both English and Italian dishes. The new owners, Mother and Son team Marina and Kyle have taken over and would like to welcome customers, new and old back with a similar but updated menu.
Kyle (20) worked under the previous owners for five years having started while still at school. He has worked his way up from being a pot washer to eventually becoming the Head Chef for the last couple of years. Marina’s previous jobs have included being a teaching assistant at the local school in Milford and also front of house and management experience.
The restaurant itself will be refurbished to make it look more modern while still in keeping with the building’s traditional style. They are trying to keep everything as local as possible and will be using local tradesmen to do this as well as sourcing as many of the ingredients as possible from close to the area. They already have suppliers ready to deliver fresh foods for when they open as well as a varied drinks menu.
The restaurant will be re-opened from Friday 19th April and is ready to take bookings both online and by phone. It will be open Thursday to Saturday 12-2.30 and Sunday 12-5 for lunch and Monday to Thursday 6-9, Friday and Saturday 5.30-9.30 but will be open longer in the evenings for drinks.
