Derbyshire’s very own boutique restaurant and bar, The Farmhouse at Mackworth boasts an exquisite events space, The Folly. As the season for crackling wood fires, warm woolly gloves, rich comforting food and indulgent wines is almost upon us, the venue will be hosting a series of events this winter, perfect for the run up to Christmas.
Wine and Dine
Join local wine connoisseur, John Hattersley for an evening of tutored-tastings where his award-winning wines are paired with a specially curated three-course menu from the culinary team at The Farmhouse at Mackworth. Guests will have the chance to order premium stock for the festive season whilst sampling John’s handpicked selection of his finest wines. Delectable dishes, fine vintages and an experience with a true master of the wine world; purchase your tickets today.

A very ‘Folly’ Christmas
Step into a fantastical winter wonderland and ring in the festive season with spiced mulled wine, live music from a local choir and food and crafts stalls selling everything from chutneys to cured meats, handmade soaps to scarves. This Christmas, the Farmhouse at Mackworth hosts a Christmas market bursting with local favourites and seasonal nibbles. To top it off, the restaurant will also be selling their unique turkey cobs, perfect for enjoying whilst walking through the market stalls.
