Wayne Rodgers, takes over the kitchen of recently opened Rectory in Chesterfield
Wayne has previously been head chef at Derbyshire heavyweights the Devonshire Arms in Beeley, Derbyshire’s “Dining Pub of The Year”, the Cavendish Hotel, Chatsworth and the Druid Inn at Birchover. In addition, Wayne has worked with Andrew Pern at the Michelin starred ‘Star Inn’ at Harome, currently the UK’s No.1 Gastro pub https://www.top50gastropubs.com/pub-profile/the-star-inn/
Having already assisted in the development of The Rectory’s current menu, Wayne now has the opportunity to develop it further, raise the profile of The Rectory and establish it as one of the county’s top dining destinations.
The Rectory has been short listed for Gastro Pub of the Year at the Chesterfield Food & Drink Awards.
