Derby’s latest restaurant is inviting people to attend a VIP launch party on Thursday, 30th June, where they will have the chance to experience an authentic Mexican experience.
MEXIco officially opens its doors on Friday, 1st July at intu Derby and is set to offer Derby diners a new experience with a menu that has been developed by top US chef renowned for his Mexican cuisine, Johnny Hernandez, who recently cooked at the White House for President Obama’s Cinco de Mayo celebration.
On Thursday, guests will be able to try out Johnny’s new flavour of Mexican cuisine through his inspired menu of authentic mouth-watering dishesand an incredible drinks list.
Guests should make sure they try the MEXIco Puffy Taco, a signature dish that will surprise, delight and excite with every bite. Puffy, crispy, hand-pressed tortillas are served with pulled chicken tinga, shredded lettuce, tomatoes and freshly made guacamole. There really is nothing like it in the UK right now.
When it comes to drinks MEXIco is confident that it will own the Margarita, creating the very best classic and contemporary versions of this incredible cocktail. As well as these marvelous margaritas guests will be able to try out one of MEXIco’s tequila flights, ideal for those getting to know Mexico’s favourite spirit or those just starting out their exploration.
