The Festival of Food and Drink is back for its 11th year on Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd September and promises another weekend of fun, feasting and fabulous guest chefs.

Hosted across the beautiful landscape of Thoresby Park in Nottinghamshire with Thoresby Hall as its magnificent backdrop, the festival has become a highlight of the food festival calendar – earning itself a great reputation for delivering a great day out for the whole family.

Over 160 traders will showcase a delicious range of artisan food and drink products, gift, crafts, and homewares plus some of the UK’s best street food vendors, bars, cocktails, and live music will be on tap throughout the day.

The 500 seated Cookery Theatre which is accessible to all ticket holders will once again host a fantastic line-up of TV Chefs. Taking to the stage on Sunday 22nd September will be two Great British Bake-Off stars from the 2023 series; winner Matty Edgell and runner-up Josh Smalley, and if that weren’t enough to get your festival juices flowing, best-selling cookery writer Rachel Allen will be sharing some of her wonderful recipes. The full cookery theatre schedules will be announced closer to the date.

Rachel Allen best-selling cookery writer, TV Chef, and celebrated teacher at the world-famous Ballymaloe Cookery School in County Cork, Rachel is a popular figure in the culinary world, with an international audience for her bestselling cookery books, 14 to date with sales of more than 1 million copies worldwide.

Bake-Off Finalist Josh Smalley captivated audiences with his impressive array of showstoppers and painstaking attention to detail. Possessing a doctorate in chemistry, Josh loves to combine his culinary creations with an insight into the science behind them, showing how everyone can be a scientist. Josh also has a strong passion for gardening and is a big advocate of cooking with seasonal produce. He maintains a large kitchen garden at his home, growing everything from the weird to the wonderful, using all his produce to flavour his cooking delights.

Cookery theatre host, Chris Bavin has worked in the fresh produce industry for over 20 years and is presenter of BBC’s Eat Well for Less – Chris will be taking the reins and hosting the cookery demonstrations over the entire weekend.
