White Peak Distillery has launched a brand-new Warehouse Tour visitor experience for 2023. The Warehouse Tour offers an in-depth exploration of cask maturation, with plenty of tasting samples and time for whisky discussion. This new tour joins the 5* TripAdvisor rated Distillery and Whisky Tour offering at White Peak.
The tour begins with a walk through of whisky-making, discussing the raw materials, focus on flavour, Still House processes and distillery equipment that make Wire Works Whisky unique. Whilst in the still house, visitors get the opportunity to taste the beginnings of a batch of whisky, with wort and new make spirit samples. The tour then moves into the warehouse, where visitors sit amongst the casks and taste various Wire Works Whisky samples, straight from the cask. There is plenty of opportunity to talk more about all things whisky and ask an expert any questions.
The Warehouse Tour offers something different for returning visitors to White Peak, as well as an in-depth interactive experience for new visitors. The Warehouse Tour is for anyone who is curious about whisky and cask maturation.
The Warehouse Tour is priced at £40pp. The price includes a tasting glass to take home, and a £5 voucher to spend in the Distillery shop. It runs on select Saturday afternoons at 15:00 and lasts approximately 90 minutes. Groups are limited to 12, for a relaxed and intimate atmosphere.
