PizzaExpress, which is celebrating its 50th birthday this year, is launching an exciting new look restaurant at Derby Intu Shopping Centre.
This restaurant has been given a complete facelift which includes new leather banquette booths and chairs and additional timber cladding to the walls. Situated on Level 3 of the centre, it can seat 150 people and is close to the cinema, theatre and shops.
Manager, Mike Deal, said, “We have a friendly and enthusiastic team who are looking forward to welcoming everyone to our beautiful restaurant over a delicious pizza.”
It’s 50 years since the first PizzaExpress opened on Wardour Street in London’s Soho, and it has been dishing up fresh, handmade pizza at Derby Intu, formerly Derby Westfield, since 2007.
Its exciting summer menu has plenty of new options, including even more low-calorie mains and desserts, a new range of premium pizzas, called Romana65, the return of some classic salads, the introduction of new salads, new gluten-free recipes and summery desserts.
The Pollo Salad is back on the PizzaExpress menu by popular demand. A combination of chicken, goat’s cheese and salad, topped with PizzaExpress’ famous House Dressing, it has won some new fans this summer.
Also proving popular are PizzaExpress’ Dolcetti - little tasters of decadent desserts served with any coffee. For younger pizza-lovers, PizzaExpress’ Piccolo menu is full of tasty choices including ‘Create Your Own’ pizza, and starts at just £3.95.
