Have You Ever Fancied Making Your Own Gin? Well now you can with the 45 Gin School based at Bawdon Lodge farm in the heart of the Charnwood Forest.
The Artisan distillery is also home to Burleighs London Dry Gin, distilled by world renowned Master Distiller Jamie Baxter.
The 45 Gin School Experience includes a tour of their working distillery, offering you a unique insight into the world of a master distiller, where you’ll find out what it takes to produce craft distilled gin on the beautiful 450 litre copper pot still, Messy Bessy.
Whether you prefer floral, citrus, herbal or spicy notes, you will learn how to create your own bespoke and unique gin using botanicals of your choice using a mini copper pot still. Whilst your creation is distilling, sit back, relax and enjoy a Burleighs Gin & Tonic learn about the extraordinary history of gin and the fine art of distilling.
Once your creation has been distilled, you’ll get the opportunity to check out the strength of your gin, gaining approval from the master distiller. You’ll then bottle and seal your 70cl bottle before adding a personalised label ready to take home!
