Switch your sofa for the garden as The Farmhouse at Mackworth gets set to reopen its doors for alfresco dining from Monday 12th April. Reunite with friends and family in the surrounds of the outside terrace, set to the backdrop of the rolling Derbyshire hills, and recently renovated with covered and heated areas for all weathers.
Ahead of reopening, the pub’s chefs have been hard at work perfecting a new menu of seasonal dishes for the spring. Running alongside customer favourites, and the pub’s acclaimed chargrilled steaks and crisp sourdough pizzas, diners can sample new dishes including Spiced roast duck breast with pickled watermelon; Chicken and red pesto rigatoni with Old Winchester mature cheddar; and Roast cod loin with spicy chorizo, king prawns and Padron peppers. With something for everyone, including indulgent Sunday roasts and meat-free options such as Spiced carrot bhajis and Curried cauliflower burger with a cucumber raita and mango chutney, all coupled with an extensive list of wine and cocktails, The Farmhouse is the ideal place to relax and unwind.
Looking for a weekend break away? The Farmhouse also offers ten boutique-style bedrooms for an ideal countryside escape. Beautifully finished with plush furnishings, en-suites and all the amenities you may need, the pub provides an idyllic escape for half-term breaks and summer staycations, with bookings now available at Titanic Hotels from 17th May 2021, coinciding with the full reopening of indoor dining.
