Our team are excited to ‘re-introduce’ you to The Prince of Wales, Baslow.
After another successful year with our loyal customers, regulars and repeat visitors from far afield we say hello once again to our traditional name; The Prince of Wales. Earning a Rosette, a space in both the Michelin Guide and The Good Food Guide we know we're on the right track.
Our Village Pub and Restaurant has always been a family business and as such the team that work together have the ethos of the family very close to their hearts.
Baslow and the Peak District has seen the demise of some of its great country pubs over the years, something we for one are not happy about it. The family has spent years creating a ‘local’ that the wider community can be proud of. Our M.O. you ask? Source Local, Source Fresh, Cook Well and Serve Right.
The decision was made earlier this year to return to our roots and change the name above the door hopefully reflecting more so on what we offer. We are a passionate bunch of people that believe in delivering not just great food and drink but a sense of community and belonging. The many people that visit are not just customers but long-lasting friends.
Whether it is a swift pint, a delicious meal or a morning coffee you know where we are.
Like we said, old dog, new tricks!
